Steve has a special guitar made with an aluminum neck that helps handle intonation

They've got some balls, playing one Z-tuned chord for 3 minutes and calling it a song. Not bad, though.

@Alienpelvis86 Back about eight years ago, I broke the first nut on my first guitar with a .065 bass string. So not only are there intonation problems, there are broken nuts as well. Sand your nuts when you are using bass strings on your guitars, or you just might break them!

Nah, I do like Iommi and tune to C# standard with 9's. The floppy string tone is super evil. That's probably only good for a doom sound though.

@Alienpelvis86 i have a six string guitar... buy a 7 string - string set and leave out teh high E thats what i did to tune to drop A
