All differents series of Meitetsu trains on the Seto line, Nagoya. 6000, 6600 'white skirt', old 6750 (now retired) & new 4000 series, passing at Kitayama station.
Please pardon a stupid question from a foreigner: are the train crew members required to salute each other, or do they do it voluntarily as a sign of respect for each other? I see this quite often in Japanese train videos.

It is the first solution, crew members required to salute each other, it is the regulations.
