That is one cool train, and one weird intersection!! Only thing close to this in Canada is in Brampton, Ontario

Yes and no, these cars do not have H.E.P. capabilities when running behind Amtrak (well except for two as noted below) but do have HEP connection to their own UPP generator cars (shown as "the Hunchback" car in this video) as well as limited independent generator capabilities when running without a generator car.
