We've started a TEFL social network where we are trying to build a community of TEFL teachers around the world to meet and share experiences and tips. If anyone is interested take a look at tefl-me.com. It covers lots of areas and has a blog, forum groups individual profiles and a map to indicate your location in the world to help you meet other TEFL teacher when you are on the other side of the world.

It depends. If you are planning on traveling quite a bit in the next year, then I would recommend the 1 year subscription, so that you are able to access it from anywhere. But if you will traveling to locations where you will have poor internet connections, then the DVDs would be a better choice.

Yep I got that at the end, because the first time I saw the video I thought she was making a mistake, but let's imagine that's the case, you don't interrupt her, you let her finish and then you say: "there's something that you need to change" (you can give another tip or make gestures) and ask another student for help, so he/she can say taller than... What do you think? Is right what I'm saying? Or would you do it in another way?

If that were the case, then I think what you said would be a good error correction technique. It's always good to elicit the right answer from another student if you can (as long as you return to the original student and make sure they repeat the sentence with the correction).

Thanks for the comments! Actually, the student was looking at 2 different people at different heights on a ladder, not a short person and a tall person. Hope that clears it up.
