Can you imagine doing what she does on stage with the wig and hat. She takes them both off and then just runs her fingers thru her hair and she looks great! She would have been able to do that with another hair style. She is wonderful...and I actually like her voice now better than in her younger years.

i think this is a terrible version of a lovely song, she sings then talks her words and sounds angry all the way through. thank god for julie convington and even madonna!

She had her hair cut for the tour. Anyone who has seen the tour will know that she enters the beginning of the secong half as Norma Desmond, wearing the turban. Later she wears a dark wig, in a segment where she sings 3 songs from Piaf. She would not have been able to do that with longer hair, hence the choppy cut.

I quite like it actually - think it makes her look younger.

I think she gave a great performance! Thanks for the upload. In my opinion I think she is aging gracefully, her voice is a bit "older" but as BritishArrow pointed out she is still performing in the same key as in her younger days, which is awesome because she nailed it! What a performance after all these years!

I love you Elaine! But I also miss your beautiful longer golden hair! I think that look is better on you than the short one!

This looks like Elaine's one woman show that she toured Britian with this year. I saw it at the Lowry Theatre in Salford, it was just bloody brilliant, she is exceptionally talented, I loved her Edith Piaf renditions, so powerful.
