Sonny Boy Williamson recorded "Good Morning, School Girl" in 1937 during his first recording session for Bluebird Records. An uptempo blues w/ an irregular number of bars, featured Williamson on vocal and harmonica, Big Joe Williams and Robert Lee McCoy on guitars. Texas bluesman Smokey Hogg recorded it in 1950, calling it "Little School Girl". Renamed "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" in the late 50s by John Lee Hooker, Lightnin' Hopkins, Muddy Waters, etc. Buddy Guy cut his version in '65.
