Here is my box stock Losi Ten SCTE (Black body) just minutes after pulling it from the box running against 2 slash 4x4s. Overall I'd say it is a SOLID truck. I can feel the weight difference between this sct and my hyper 10sc and jammin scrt10. That said, I LOVE. Thumbs up to Losi on this one. I can't wait to tear in to the diffs and shocks and put what I want in there. Towards the end of the race my Hitec servo gears musta gotten chewed because I intermittently lost steering. I can tell I will need to upgrade to a titanium geared, ultra strong servo if I want it to last in this beast. Running a Mamba Max Pro, Tekin SC4X 4.5T, 2s 5000 mah lipo, 15T pinion. Temps after 10 min main with a fan on the motor were about 130. Not horrible but I don't think I'm going to change the gearing. I'm also not running any timing in the ESC. Hope you enjoy, please rate and subscribe. More to come!

  • great vid!! Makes me want one. Q: is it 100% stock straight out of the box in the vid? Seems so fast in the straights. Have a Losi Strike now, just for bashing.. should I get this one and move over my 10.5t brushless ++? Worth it?

  • @haz20102010 Yes this was stock out of the box. You will definitely want to get a 550 sized motor instead of the 10.5t because these trucks are pretty heavy compared to the 2wd trucks.

  • Quick question for racing with brushless setups which one the losi, jammin, hyper 10, slash! Jk not the slash but which do you prefer?

  • @lizardmannnn They can all handle the power of brushless systems but my favorite truck has been the Losi by far. The extra weight of the truck helps to keep it settled and consistent.

  • I'd also recommend upgrading the shock towers; they tend to bend easily. I went with 3S lipo on the trinity 6.5T 550; a bit over powered; but made the truck a blast to drive. Be sure to get a better servo horn when you upgrade servo; I broke the stock one first race out with a high powered servo.

  • @zerobane3 Thanks! I found out the hard way about the towers bending. I'm thinking of getting the 4mm CF ones from Losi. I've tried several different motor combos but the next one I think will be the Novak HV 6.5T on 2s. Some tracks here won't allow 3s. Also, using the alum. dynamite servo horn. Everything has held up, now it's time to tweak the setup :)
