R.I.P the best dog, Macy

UPDATE She has come home from surgery. The doctors require she doesn't jump, or go up the stairs. So she is sleeping on the bottom level of our house tonight. They had surgery on her tumor, but are afraid it was not fully cut off. It was deep. It had a lot of grotesque things in it. She now has a tube in her belly, it makes her drain (bleed). She is miserable. If we are 10 steps away, she will cry. The doctors suspect cancer will come. My parents decide, if that happens, they will put her down. Now, I'm not showing any emotion in this news basically because my feelings are implied. Implied that I am upset.....Keep her in your thoughs and prayers- although she is just a dog......She's.... very Important to me. And I can't explain why.

UPDATE- April 13th
So she had her stitches taken out. But the Vet found something else wrong. It was swollen. It gave her pain. It makes her sick. It makes her have a high fever...... I don't know what it's called, but it doesn't have any cancer cells in it, that they know of..... The Vet is having Macy stay there for 10 days....The longest I have been without her......But not to worry, I'll be seeing her EVERYDAY there. Everyday..
The Vet told me... "Macy has been having a lot of pain. I might not be able to fix her." (not an exact quote) but anyway...... It means that they might have to put her down......

UPDATE (5/2)
We found out Macy has a viscous rapid growing cancer. I can tell too. She gets worse everyday. She's become very skinny, so skinny I can feel her bones. Now, she doesn't walk that much. She doesn't come up to greet me when I come home either. Whenever she walks on the steps, she stumbles and trips slanted. It's very hard to see her so weak and know she doesn't have that long of time left. Yes, she is getting put down. I'm one of those people that really can't understand that, or concept it, so when it's last minute I'll be bawling so much. I've never lost anyone so important to me before....I can't imagine..... I promise myself, no one will ever replace her. And she will ALWAYS be my favorite and #1 dog, no matter how many dogs I get.

UPDATE- May 16th
Macy went to the vet again, you know how I said she gets worse everyday? Well, now it's her ears. They've been bleeding. So, we had to get those fixed. And the Vet said, Macy has a whole in her stomache... And that if she keeps on bothering it, she will get more holes. So, we had to put the cone on her again. They also said she was in a lot of pain, and that my family should make a decision on when...will be her last day....

UPDATE May 24th
June 4th was the day I got Macy..... It will also be her last, if she makes it that long.

UPDATE (6/1/09)
June 1st we put Mace down.... She died. It started out to be like a normal thing to take her to the vet. I remember her big brown eyes looking all like "I don't like that place" and so we took her in... She tried to hide underneath a chair, and a medium sized gal like her can't really fit under there lol. Not to mention she already had limpy legs. So the vet explained what would happen. The vet said "Come on Miss Macy". Macy looked back at my dad and said "Goodbye Macy" and she walked away. I let her leave. I couldn't take it and went to the car... My parents came back said it was over. So we went back and saw her lifeless.... Pat her... Said some things... Tried to get her eyes to close. cried. Yeah, it's a hard thing.

reading the description at the end brought a tear into my eye :'( it just reminds me so much of the day i had my gray hound put down i had him for about 6years, i didnt go to the vet with my parents because i was way too upset and now i really regret not going to say those last few words, although i can still talk to him as i have his ashes in a box up in the loft...

I am sorry, I know to love an animal is to know that one day it is going to hurt if you have to let them go. I have two old dogs, one is 11 the other almost 12, and they are not healthy. I know there will be no replacing them, they are the first dogs I have owned. RIP Macy

I'm not sure why I watch Last days Vids of Dogs. They always make me Cry, but this one takes the cake. my family had to Put down our 14 year old lab about 10 months before this Vid was posted and it wasn't easy. When the Decision was I cried even before we put her to Sleep. Pets are like family (which is why Lots of animals receive human names) and often grow up with you. Nothing can replace them

my second dog i had my first dog when i was like 3 last year my 2nd dog died chocolate lab best dog ever he was my buddy till we found out he had cancer called limfoma and we had to put him down he couldnt even stand up the morning we were going to the vet we had him in the car he was laying in the back seat his head was on my lap we were backing out of my drive way and he looked up and licked my face we got out of my neighbor hood and he had his last breath i MISS HIM SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )=
