When I first heard this song I thought "if DEVO released this as a single it would easily make a top 40 hit". Yet they didn't, becasue DEVO being DEVO, didn't need to.

31st of February with Allman brothers nailed THE perfect version of this fantastic tune. Neither Devo's, nor Dead's nor Nazareth's versions come close, but all still are good by any standards.

i didnt know that DEVO... did a version of this TUNE.... wow... PRETTY wild.... I am big appreciator of DEVO... and big appreciator of the GRATEFUL DEAD.... I saw Morning Dew performed by the Grateful Dead a number of times.... when is DEVO playing again? NICE VERSION

Ugh, this to me sounds like it belongs on an epic scene in some 80's film where the hero is getting into his car and is about to save his girl or somebody else equally important. I can see why this album doesn't get many good comments from fans.
