Digital Futurism captures the passage of time with modern electronic readymades. Creating linear deviation from the standardized Earth time zones, this dynamic representation of the 4th dimension animates time.

  • It's a cool piece, but how exactly do you read the time?

Is it the time on the last clock + # of clocks that stepped forward OR time on the first clock + # of clocks that stepped forward?

It's just one part that I couldn't properly understand (considering audio was stripped due to the YT police).

  • First clock tells the time, hours and minutes. The rest of the clocks animate the seconds.

Check out "Real Time" by Joe Mckay.

  • cool thanks. that's an awesome song man... hey, how much did it cost you to buy all those clocks??? very cool

  • $5 a clock X 60 clocks = Priceless

  • what song is this i love it... who plays it?

  • Deep Purple "Child in time"

  • I bet setting 60 of those clocks is a pain

  • AND WHEN THE POWER GOES OUT?

  • You must have a lot of time on your hands.

  • Why would you not arrange these in a circle? It's a nice idea as it is but it would be far more compelling to watch it loop, implying this continuous, incessant repetition of time.

  • its so goooood !

  • genius man. just genius.

  • To get round the YouTube copyright police with their special checksum powers, why not just open Deep Blue's 'Child In Time' in another tab.

  • Stumbled this.

That's pretty cool. I'd like to see this done with thousands of clocks.
