@masterblend100 No, the ancestors of the pit bull were brought to the U.S and used as farm dogs. Its bull baiting ancestry made it a good cattle herder. Its terrier ancestry made a good tracker and rodent catcher, and so they were often left to roam the farms alone when off duty; they'd typically go off chasing vermin, barking at strangers, or play with the farm children. Often times people would steal these dogs and force them to fight, starting the APBT as a fighting breed.

Why are people so mean to Pit Bulls?! Those wonderful dogs are NOT bred to fight or kill they were BRED to be loyal and kind to their masters if I see someone abusing or telling their dog to fight the other peoples dog I'll just go up to them and say "exscuse me what your doing is SO WRONG! I think you'd never deserve to have a any animal..

Any fog is capable to attack. I was bitten by a chow and a german Sheppard. I now own a pitbull and she is the sweetest dog I have ever met. Also chows are mean. Throwing that one out there. I personally know more people bitten by chows than pitbulls.

@StefyStuff Yes they were descended from dogs bred for bull baiting and pit fighting in England. So obviously they have a bad past reputation. This crosses over into today. Also, why do you object so much to strict licensing and owner licensing for such powerful dogs? Everyone on here says how nice the dogs are, well then why not license all dogs and owners. Any unlicensed dog would be put down. (as are 99% of pit bulls today)

@masterblend100 There is no such thing as a real dog, No such thing as a fake dog, all dogs are apart of our reality, they weren't created in a lab. Stop trying to make shit up to try and make the Pit Bull look like less of a dog than any other dog! They are real dogs, born and bred just like other dogs. Do you even know what the Pit Bull was bred for?

mmy sisters both have pits and my sisters dog jumps on me and he is such a love bug and so is my others sisters dog the dog is so fun to be aroung my sister was trying to move and we had to take my siters female pit and here and my tiny dog played and played and every on who is saying crap about pits and that they r killer how bout its our fualts they are being placed as fight dogs they didnt do it u drugged them and i cried when i seen this video bc i love animals my sis pit wont hurt a thing

I don't know why people hate these dogs so much! I absolutely love these dogs! I wish other people would too. Any dog is capable of killing a person. Even your dog could. If the truly love you they won't. And I think people who fight these dogs are stupid and deserve to die in prison. Like michel Vick should!
