Brings a little tear to my eye. This is a pure part of life that is so rare nowadays that people think it's extinct. God Bless Walt Disney for giving us the mouse. When I remember what Disney was it gives me a little more hope for the human race. If some one like Walt Disney could exist back then, then maybe some one like him could be born again.

I went to disneyland during the 50th birthday celebrations
it was amazing.
they had music and fireworks every night. and julie Andrews narrated the whole thing (pre recorded of course)

I think she had throat cancer and needed to have surgery for it but it was botched and it left her voice sounding completely different and as of two months ago she has stated that her singing voice is no more
-
Yeah, she had surgery in 1997 to fix a small throat issue, and during the surgery one of her vocal cords was scratched, literally taking away the best of her voice. :(
-
sadly, no. but she is singing again. her voice isnt quite the same but i still love her to tears!
-
a vocal surgery ? are you kidding ? :(
-
If you listen to the videos of Julie singing this song before her vocal surgery you can hear a lot of difference, and it is kinda sad, but as far as I'm concerned she will always have the most beautiful voice, face, and heart I have ever seen! =)

Julie Andrews reminds us that life is worth living
