Thanks to the kind comments of some knowlegable people, we have realised that this is not a bearded dragon, but most probably an Australian water dragon. All the same, we thoroughly enjoyed their presence at the restort we stayed at and we affectionately named him, or her, slim. Here he is having his breakfast around the pool. Now that is what I call a great 'lifestyle'!

I guess the worlds biggest and most dangerous reptiles, one of the seven natural wonders of the world the Great Barrier Reef and an entire continent the size of the continental US with as many people as are in Los Angeles is pretty sucky eh? Douche!
