The University of North Alabama Lions traveled to Dallas to play the #2 team in the nation, Abilene Christian University, on 9-17-11 and won the game 23-17. The score was closer than the game actually was. We took a 16-0 lead in the first quarter, and then the defense, special teams and the offense kept control of the game. It was a great all-around effort by everyone on the team - players, coaches and especially the fans who traveled from all over the country to cheer UNA to victory. Going into our 4th game tomorrow (Harding) - we are 3-0 and ranked #2 in the nation by both the AFCA poll and D2Football.com's poll. Roar Lions!!!
