@lillnemo1 I don't see how worse could it be than being hit with a 1500kg car at 60km/h but still it kid of makes sense. I think I heard somewhere that mercedes modified their emblem back then for the same reason.

all about pedestrian protection: when a light sticks out of the hood, and you hit a pedestrian, he may suffer more severe injuries

After seeing this, I'm realizing that I haven't seen cars with retractable light in like 20 years. Do they make these lamps anymore?

@DirtyStang69 It's a bitch. On the 1st gen's, the buzzer is mounted on the back of the instrument panel so you have to pull the whole thing out and physically damage either the circuitry or the speaker to get it to shut up. No amount of fuse pulling will solve the problem.

Or you could just not over rev. :)

25 and 35 mpg for the RX7 and 924? Apparently in Britain 1 mile is approximately 100 feet.

And screw "equivalent" BS, the RX7 is a 1.3

I own a 924S and is in a restoration process. I thought the mirror motors were warned out by the sound they made but what i've seen form the video, they're just noisy from the factory ;p

That buzzer in the RX would get on my tits fairly quick, i'd be pulling fuses out till it shut up.
