  • I havent heard that song for decades, what a great tune, hook after hook - and Reg Mombassa was one seriously underrated guitarist, those solo's were awesome, he had quite a different style ..

  • Simply awesome.

  • I saw these guys many times when I was growing up. First saw them when I was in Year 12 in 1979 at the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba. Me and my best mate saw them at Blaxland Tavern one night in the late 90's and we ended up kicking on with all of them in the back room as Greedy knew my mate's wife's father. It was one of the best nights - we just raved on with Martin, Greedy and Reg for hours. Best bunch of blokes you could possibly meet.

  • @tosgem Same here! I take it you were born in 1980 as well? I'd only heard a couple of these guys' songs - but thanks to Youtube and nzoz1981, I am discovering more! These guys are simply AWESOME! Loving their music!! :)

  • what an amazing solo from Reg Mombassa !

  • Fantastic. Reggy a great guitarist, agreed. nzoz, if you put insurance man up you can have my soul.

  • I remember buying this album in the day when you couldn't "google" any information on anything about nothing. I bought it purely on the look of it's cover and the titles of the song. After flipping it arround a few times from back to front, gleaning what I could from it, and only after weighing carefully in both hands, I bought it. Turned out to be quite the fun summer album...

  • This song takes me back..............Still GOOD!

  • Why was this not a massive hit back in the day, and still being played today? I wasn't quite 1 year old when this was performed, but to my ear it just sounds like and out and out timeless classic

  • "Cats and Dogs" is a great album; very clever work about the daily grind that still resonates almost 30 years on. Honestly, there are 9 other songs in the album that are this good.
