This was a $1000 skins match (5 holes) between Dave Feldberg, Carlo Pelg, Chris Vilmorin and Steve Rico. 4 random players were drawn by raffle tickets to play with these top 4 open players. The Roller by Steve Rico on hole 14 which was the 1st hole of the match was the highlight throw. Carlo Pelg and his partner went on to win the skins match..... Sun Valley Open '09 La Mesa, Ca

"The game of disc golf is to throw the disc"......."Throw the disc"........."THROW?" Hmmmmm, its so amazing how that disc ROLLS by itself without "THROWING" it

  • @AllaboutTheDiesel I can throw max like 400-430, but i can roll my roadrunner 500-550 so if i have the chance to use a roller and get that difference of a par or 1 up instead of a possible birdie. I dont see why you have this grudge against people rolling their disc. Maybe you should learn them better and you might like the extra distance...

  • "That was the nastiest roller ever" - Jack Black

  • @andrewwolf if i was at the worlds i wouldn't be rolling my disc . but thats just me . not a roller . come play in the woods with us and try rolling your disc

  • @DoomKR3Wkid I play with an old pro here in our weekly league and the dude can barley throw over 300, but he smash's 5-600 foot rollers, and if theres good wind... forget about it. So i feel ya, do what works, thumbers, hammers, grenades, rollers, shit i've seen a guy air bounce a putter at full force to make a 7 footer from behind and under a tree because that was his only route. dg isn't just flicks and backhands. Much props to whomever has every shot imaginable in his/her bag. Happy golfin'

  • @AllaboutTheDiesel get over it rolling is part of the game...if he threw a roller who cares he got it to do what he wanted didnt he? im over it...it was a nice shot

  • @AllaboutTheDiesel Could have drove?? Your English is about as good as your disc golf sense, which is basically nil. Then again, maybe I missed your name in the top 10 at worlds, where Rico finishes regularly...

  • @AllaboutTheDiesel [holding up a bowling ball] What the fuck is this? - Obviously you're not a golfer.

  • @AllaboutTheDiesel Apparently you dont throw many rollers, there pretty predictable. Its going to roll the direction you want almost 100% of the time. Its all a distance game, can you get it to roll far enough before it starts its very predictable turn.

  • @Culture261 yeah he threw the disc 2ft in front of him and then prayed to god that it rolled the right direction , what a tool

  • @AllaboutTheDiesel He did throw the disc, right into the dirt. By your logic, bounce passes shouldnt count in basketball.

  • I can roll pretty good.Im gonna put some vids up so these guys can take points off there game.Ive used it in wind, downhill and holes with many trees.very predictable once you learn how to throw right.i use wraith right now.gonna try roc.its my secret weapon right now and people hate it.i can throw drive 400 to 450,so why do i need this.cause its cool.
