@MegaGunRush because the z06 that did that had an upgraded zr1 suspension AND CARBON CERAMIC BRAKES and stupid ridiculous tires.......... enormous upgrades over the stock z06 that has such minuscule changes since 2006. please state all the facts because the 2012 with the z07 package is 20 seconds or so faster then the previous.

@niceboy60 Cheap? The ZO6 has leather interior, key less ignition, Satellite Navigation, integrated voice communication for cell phone, Heads Up Display, sports seats, trip computer and much more.. No sport suspension?!?! If it didn't have a good "sport" suspension then why did the 2012 ZO6 run a 7:22 at the Nurburgring and the 2012 GTR ran a 7:24? Oh, don't believe the Jeremy Clarkson. Not made of plastic. CF aerodynamic parts, Aluminum frame. If ZO6 can't beat the GTR, the ZR1 WILL.

@niceboy60 Your right. I'm not making an excuse for the 1960 zo6, probably because it DOSENT EXIST. So thanks for changing the topic of the argument. You do know theres a thing called 'modifying' where people take engines and swap them for more powerful ones, if your putting a stock car against a tuned car, of course its going to lose. Thats why the corvette driver probably put in modified parts, otherwise he would have lost. Its just common sense man.

The information about the GTR hp is displayed in beginning of this video, they have dyno machines on site's as money doesn't seem a issue to this people

@niceboy60 Dude, the Z06 Dosent have 40 hp, you don't even know whats under the hood of this car. Btw, this car isnt from 1960...the STINGRAY was, but not this. Don't you know your cars? To top that off you don't even know whats under the hood of THAT SPECIFIC GTR anyway.

There is no way a Z06 with a Deficit of 40 hp is able to keep up with New stock GTR's with 40 more hp than the Completely out of date 1960 technology z06
