MuchMusic Video Awards 2009 Fashion Recap

The Much Music Awards are basically Canada's version of our MTV Awards so it's totally normal to see young stars taking risks when it comes to fashion. But most of the red carpet risks we saw weren't exactly homeruns. For example-take a look at the maxi dress Kelly Clarkson wore. Her hair and makeup look great and the cut of the dress is perfect for her, but the print makes us little dizzy. I would've probalby opted for something in a solid color or a less dramatic print.

Then there's Kim Kardashian's overall look. The dress and shoes are great, AND we love her arm candy-boyfriend and football star Reggie Bush, BUT her hair and makeup are killing us. A little too retro for the dress. We would've loved to have seen more of that gorgeous hair she has-after all why hide it? But the worst look of the night was Audrina Pattridge. She's drop dead gorgeous, but she broke one of the cardinal rules of fashion. She wore a see-through black dress with a completely visible bra underneath. She should've worn a slip, or chosen something else, because we can see right through her LBD. Audrina, what were you thinking?

The few fashion hits of the night came from the guys. Hotties Brody Jenner and Taylor Lautner didn't dissapoint. Jenner rocked a very classic look and we love his skinny black tie-we just wish he would've removed his shades so we could've seen more of his hair. AND Lautner wins the best dressed award in his black outfit and edgy motorcycle jacket. Plus his killer smile was the best accessory of the night.
