what I think the story of the song is a man searching the ocean for something when he coms across an island with sirens (greek myth creatures the look like ugly vultures and lure you in with there songs and there ability to show you your biggest desire then eat you) and they sing for him and he is lured toward them and sunk and he can only see them through a "crystal haze" which is the water above him and he is stuck in the "never ending coral maze" witch is being stuck underwater. and he dies.
