my god dude what a horrible approach. I'm a pilot and this is the last thing we need. Next time go around. For what it's worth, it's not really possible to make "much worse" landings in a 172 and even if it was, you demonstrate from this video that you have no business being in the sky.

As a pilot you then understand the difference between pilot in command and pilot flying. I was no pilot in command.

I love all these comments, made by armchair pilots who've never taken control of a real aircraft. The reality is, I've made much worse landings in a 172 during training.

This video is a testament of how easy the A700 can actually recover from un desirable approach configurations.

Good way to bust a new airplane. Should have gone around and avoided the risk on that high rate of decent that low to the ground. Glad it worked out for you though.

That landing scared the crap out of me, all I could think was, THERE IS NO WAY HE IS GOING TO LAND UNLESS HE DIVES FOR THE RUNWAY!! , and you did. Dont ever do that again, no matter who tells you to land, its way to risky.

LoL, I bet this landing is talked about all around the world and unfortunately you get the bsload dropped on you...lol, snicker, I enjoyed it probably more cuz of the landing...I thought I was landing a jet on my Microsoft FSX program! lol. Stay safe and post more!

It was fine for first time. I hope adam aircraft gets out of bankruptcy, they make what seems to be nice aircraft. Maybe you could help them out richguy!
