A visually striking adaptation of Dantes Inferno, directed by internationally acclaimed director, Rene Migliaccio, redefines traditional boundaries and offers a haunting and thought provoking examination of our own humanity. The poetic and rhythmic beauty of René Migliaccio's adaptation synthesizes physical theatre with Italian text and English intertitles, projected collages, and a live cello score.
Italian performer Alessio Bordoni portrays the character of Dante, leading the audience throughout his descent into Hell. Projected fragments of collages by acclaimed artist India Evans depict the different realms of sin. Cellist Aminda Asher performs a classical score that mirrors Dante's journey into Hell.
