HIGHLANDER: THE SEARCH FOR VENGEANCE DVD
The Highlander series enters a new dimension this June 5th, when Manga Entertainment and Starz Home Entertainment release the animated Highlander: The Search for Vengeance on DVD. In the tradition of Vampire Hunter D and Ninja Scroll, anime wizard Yoshiaki Kawajiri brings his unique visual bravura to the immortal Highlander franchise. Produced by Imagi Animation Studios (TMNT) and Davis-Panzer (Highlander movies and TV series). "One of the greatest fantasy epics of all time is reborn in stunning fashion. There are now officially two! Finally, a second Highlander worth celebrating!" ~ Play Magazine.

  • Finally a Highlander sequel!

  • at the end , at the end of it... there will be only one .

  • You're an idiot you don't need weopons to be a highlander

  • 17 people loose they's heads

  • where can i get this

  • @SkyExplosion

Weeeeell. From a guy who generally HATES Japanese stuff... I wouldn't say it was ACE, but definitely pretty cool. Worth watching for any fan of highlander.

  • @carlosz013 I know your comments 5 months old but get real, i've watched Samurai Champloo and it's all hype. A mediocre 26 episode snooze fest. The fights are cool sure but the story telling is weak; this movie provides a far more engaging plot, it's told better and it's a single sit hour and a half. Way better deal if you ask me.

  • People should know that this trailer is a little misleading.

This is a nice anime and like most animes, it has depth and realism, in story and characters.

So while it follows the basic consept of highlander-ish immortals, the highlander is portreyed a little different than the movies... so what??

I found it interesting and imaginative - in the end, the story matters more than Highlander.

...This would damage " Highlander " only if it immitated those movies, which it clearly doesn't.

  • @freemyo Like your ass.
