Percussionist Terence and cellist Lucas meet for the first time in Jam Session "Chaishop" hosted by coffeeshop Rokerij in Amsterdam. They create the perfect ambience by just playing what comes to them. By request of the video director for this video the main percussion instrument used here is the 'cajon'.
N-joy!
T&L: het duurde wat langer dan verwacht om dit filmpje te uploaden, excuses maar alsnog veel kijkplezier, K.

  • Awesome! I saw a jam like this at rokerij Leidsewarstraat last tuesday. It was the most inspired musically and rhythmically intricate act of spontaneous music creation I have ever seen! There was a cajon, guitar, bass, sitar, sax/flute, and synth. the jam was so free of stylistic confinement while everybody played together. I thought it was a rehearsed act until the percussionist told me it was a Jam. Please post these if you have them!!

  • When I come across more of these sessions I will (with permission) film them for U-Tube.

    Thnx for the enthousiastuc comment!

    Peace
