what a totally candid dude. I'm not even a huge fan of his music, but I like the riffs and I certainly relate to his songwriting philosophy. That's exactly what I did when I was a kid and I learned so many more valuable lessons from crafting my own songs and learning other people's than I did from sitting down trying to read music and be taught theory.
