John Moran and Allen Ginsberg pay homage to their friend Arthur Russell, by covering his song 'Soon To Be Innocent Fun'. This is from Moran's 2nd album 'Meet The Locusts' (1993) produced by Philip Glass. Recorded for Point Music, the parent label Phillips Classics / Polygram refused to release the work, after having previously withdrawn Moran's 1st album (The Manson Family, An Opera) from the stores after Charles Manson wrote a vague death-threat to a critic at The Wall Street Journal who had reviewed the recording. Holding Moran in contract for the next five years however, Phillips Classics / Polygram succeeded in keeping most of Moran's recorded work from ever reaching the public.
