  • and people say the miata is a gay car

    FUCK THOSE PEOPLE

  • miatas are actually a very hard car to drift. the chassis of a miata and an rx7 are the exact same as far as demintions. its almost a square. you need more power to throw a square around a corner and keep ur pitch than you would a car with more length. i had a miata when i was in japan and drifted it. miatas are great grip racing cars and are actually pretty cheap to build up. the really are good cars.

  • In the mid 90s I used to fish tail and hit the gas to make the car sideways. We didn't call it drift. Just sideways it was fun. I had a 76 280z with 220hp, I never used the hand brake or the pedal brakes. Fishtailing was all I did and the car was going sideways. Now l own a 89-90 eunos roadster and believe me the car is fun to drive and it's agressive when you drive seriously! I love the B6 engines they are awesome! Thanks for sharing your video!

  • love the boso pipe dude:))))

  • I drifted my '91 for the first time at Willow, and I have to say that it was much easier than I had imagined; I don't know what you're complaining about. Try a driver upgrade before you stick a big ass pipe on your Miata. (My video is on my page)

  • miata's r the easiest cars to drift, all it takes is sum speed and counter steering xD, and wa la side ways cars r so centrally balanced things sick dude

  • @pda0101 what woud be better for drifting, LSD, or Welded?

  • @66dcb meh... just upgrade the bump stops and stuff to cure the short wheel base, throw in a 13b-rew, get some koni adj struts and its a great drift car

  • @donovandouglas how do drift a fwd, pulling the e-brake isn't drifting. Its all about power to the rear wheels

  • @66dcb Yeah, I agree. Their center of gravity is so low, it's really hard to break traction in one of these machines. They're more suited for grip racing, IMO.

  • @askmike515 wrong, miatas have the complete wrong chassis set up for drifting. yes they can drift, damn near any car can "drift". miatas are a very hard car to drift correctly. has a very short wheel base and from factory very under powered motor. i used to drift a miata when i lived in japan and it takes quite a bit to get the suspention, chassis, motor, and pretty much the entire car to get properly set up. a miata is deffinatly not a starter drift car.
