You know, in a newspaper in my state, Iowa, the newspaper is the des moines register btw, they had a section in it where they interviewed a gay couple(there's some possibility that Iowa might end up being another state to legalize gay marriage), the couple maintained that "the arguments about gay marriage being wrong are no different than the arguments against interracial marriage". Thought I'd let you know.

It seems like people like Prager confuse marriages in a church with marriages acknowledged by the state. No state can force a church to marry a gay couple or any couple for that matter. Why the hell they care what OTHER people who don't follow their dogma do is beyond me.

haha -- this is great. at the very end, he mentions that the Texas sodomy laws had just recently been struck down by the Supreme Court. then, he says, that the next step is to ban the Bible. the Texas sodomy laws were struck down in 2003. do you suppose the liberals have come to take his Bible yet?

This country was not build on a christian foundation. It was build upon freedom and liberty, and christian happens to be the value system that it held on to. I'm a Christian myself and I'm happy to know that it was build on freedom and liberty, because if we lose our freedom and liberty then we lose our ability to be a Christian.

Why would anyone have contempt for the Bible? Just because it advocates genocide, slavery, bigotry, misogyny and child abuse is no reason not to respect its values. Geez.

What's funny is that biblical marriage isn't just 1 man, 1 woman, but often 1 man, many women or 1 man, 1 slave girl. Pedophilia is okay, Biblically speaking, as long as the child is female.
