  • I remember meeting you down in Islamorada Florida in 1996, you were drumming with a band at the Tiki bar...I still have your promotional pamphlet with pics of you playing stingray drums with flaming sticks. You pretty much inspired me to get into the activity. I never got the chance to march, but I've been in love with it ever since. Thanks Nat!!

  • @Bluedevil93081 Very cool

  • WOW, that was great. I dont know too much about drums but I know you have to be very talented to do that. Good job Nat.

BTW, we went to school together. CCHS class of 79. Remember I sat right behind you in Mr. Meier's Psych. class and I broke your chain by pulling on it because you wouldnt give me back my pencil? lol, Sorry about that. Its funny that I remember that after all these years.

  • @tommygunn162 I remember you

  • @tommygunn162 I remember you

  • People always notice the singles, and that's probably my favorite part of this solo too, but what really blows me away is the backsticking on the first two notes of a four-note figure repeated twice. It's right at 2:17.

That's some hard shit to do!!

  • @RCRhythm Thanks for noticing

  • I hear no audio...

  • how do I get fast even singles any tips?

  • @atomikfzr1 um yeah. Is that you?

  • @jmc647 Yes I still play. My biggest secret is to let the sticks do the work. There's so many drummers that try to force the sticks to do stuff. You gotta find the right sticks for you. Balance, weight and length all play a factor. Find that sweet spot, the spot where the front of the stick is just a hair heavier than the back. Another trick is to......wait a minute. I can't tell you everything, What will I put in my book? Anyway thank you very much for the compliments.
