i think uni filter which is made of foam is better than k&n ...but its carburettor tuning is very difficult !! but ur fz is producing nice sound...congrats !!

@ The IRONMANPRO: What you have seen is an After-market product for FZ-16. I remember seeing em' new in an automobile shop when I was searching for a good Air-horn (which I found). Anyway, search in your locality for a good automobile shop where they deal with all kinds of 2Wh stuff (kinda like black-market), and I'm sure 1 out of 5 such shops would have it in stock!
**While they may look cool @ night, they might look ugly on the bike, in the day time!
I saw em in a shop on JC Road, Bangalore!

@avihacks hii i also own FZ , can u tell me how can get that yamaha logo above tail light to glow ? I saw one FZ..in that all Yamaha logos(one above tail light , two on right and left side , below petrol tank , fitted in fibre cover) were glowing...looked fabulous !!

As far as I've experienced, only the K&N rig won't help you gain much power for the bike. All it does is mod your bike's sound, and may be a slight increase in the initial speed and the top speed (not considerable). However, if you use the K&N on a bike which has an up-jetted carb, you will see the actual difference. In fact, I've even got the Piston changed to R15's piston, and increased the dia. of the bore. My FZ 16 is a ROCKET now!
