  • This is not a video about shortcuts. It is a show put on for the public with a modified show Jeep. It is an impressive sight. Practical? Of course not, we all know that. But shows put on for the public are not designed to be practical. The ingenuity to modify a Jeep in such a way and still be functional for parade use is impressive. Stop nitpicking, just relax and enjoy the show. If you have issues with it, as always, don't watch or take apart your own Jeep.

  • @EngineerAtheist also, no antifreeze in it, as its just used for ceremonial purposes, single plug ignition harness at the lower portion of the steering column, slip connect steering shaft, drop in u joints in drive shaft with lever locks, clevis pin body mounts plus 2 actual body bolts.

  • @EngineerAtheist its manual, no trans lines, mechanical clutch not hydraulic , fuel line quick connects, brake lines not needed as they are in a driveshaft drum like an e-brake on a 60 plymouth fury

  • thats the beauty of the american orginal.(not the knock-offs most people drive today)

hell the WW2 ones could be lifted off the ground by 4 soldiers and carried.

  • Well, that was done in a jiffy.

  • Sweeeeet!

  • More Labour= Less Time

  • @1Beowulf6666 WRONG. in all of the units i've been in across the army active component and army national guard i can say the infantry takes all the shortcuts so long as it can remain effective. our MRAP cougar snapped a drag link and was rigged with a new one held together by scraps and nails because in our 30-person OP no one cared enough about us outside of the wire to supply us with needed parts

  • I don't get how they do this without fluid leaking out everywhere. Break lines, transmission lines, how do they work?
