Monday - Ford Fiesta takes us to Phoenix House in Lake View Terrace

Create Now is honored to have been one of 8 organizations in Southern California selected by Ford Motors to participate in "The People's Fleet" campaign. We were loaned a Ford Fiesta car and two Flip cameras for one week to show how their vehicle helped us with our programs. On our first day, Monday, October 11, 2010, we received the car and went to Phoenix House (substance abuse rehab center for 100 teenagers) in Lake View Terrace, around 60 miles from our office. Learn about our Creative Writing Workshop with Emmy-nominated screenwriter Ron Osborn (funded by Oprah's Angel Network) and our Graphic & Web Design Workshop organized by our AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer Emily Schuck, taught by graphic designer Danny Caudillo.
