  • How did you set up the remote desktop? Did you have to dl anything?

  • @iBendThings

download grdesktop (sudo apt-get install grdesktop)

  • how has the battery life been?

  • Pretty decent, I guess about 4/5 hours. I now also have a SmartQ 7, which has at least double the battery life. Review up soon.

  • wait, this can't be. how did you manage to run windows vista on it?

  • I didn't run Vista on it, I used a remote desktop program to control my Vista laptop using the SmartQ 5

  • It is because from your reviews I came to the conclusion that this device does not support flash due to the browser. Is there any way to stream off youtube (without downloading it?)

    5) What camera/camcorder are you using? The video quality seems splendid!

I feel very interested in this product and the smartq 5 and definitely am planning to get one. I just want to know the boundaries of what this little unit can do!

Thank you Very much and once again, I love your review!

  • Hi Chinese Gadgets, I love your review!

I've been on your website quite a few times now and the reviews are quite thorough but there are still some things I'd like to know.

1)You stated the battery life is 4-5 hours, I'm assuming thats with the screen on, how many hours of battery life does this MID pack listening to music with the screen off?

    2) The comic reader you were utilizing, does it allow for you to zoom in? (easily?)

    3) Why was the PDF so laggy? slow arm CPU?

    4)Is a new browser possible

  • faster software, windows 7, faster chip, more memory and they would have them selves a proper unit.

    good video tho 4 star

  • oh shit, this is cool.
