Nice work my friend! I've got a Samson G-Track mic too but until now I've not really made the most of it, so could you tell me a few things, 1) are you recording the audio and video at once and the file saves as one complete project, or are you separately synchronising the two using a program? 2) What are you recording the vocals (and guitar) in? I want to add an echo/reverb to my video that doesn't come naturally, so 3) would you hear this echo when performing or do you add it later?

@bboytomo
1) I recorded the original lead audio/video in real time, then saved the project. I then played the project again and recorded the backup in real time. I didn't have to synchronize.
2) I recorded the vocals and guitar with the G-Track through Microsoft Lifecam software (Windows Movie)
3) If you use software like Guitar tracks, You can hear the the reverb while recording, or add it to the track when you are done. It gives you more options, but save your original tracks.

Watch YouTube videos on split screen effects.......then go to one of the almost free sites and download the plugins you want.

does the gtrack mic allow you to record both the guitar playing (plugged into the mic) and singing at the same time?

The G track IS a mixer too. You can plug a guitar or other instrument directly into it if you choose. This test recording was made with the the mic slightly lower though. SO...the guitar was recorded without a cord in this test. It's truly an amazing mic.
