Well this is my first test to see if the Brushless motor setup will work on the E-Flite Blade MSR
It needs a lot of work
The mount was rather hard to set up, but was fixed into position using JB Weld.
Anyhow it's a long way off before it's finished, this project is in the alpha stage of development, there is so much more needed.
Please dont ask for a parts list as there are around 3 changes each time I play with it.

  • Nice little heli Gourvelos. Great video. how long you been flying?

  • since I was 10 years old 33 years ago

  • What did you start out with? Did you have the 'VertiBird' like I did? lol

  • omg, now that brings back memories...... I actually have been an airplane person for many years, and was introduced to heli's about 10 years ago, but didnt take it up because of the costs, then about 2 years ago I took it up

  • Hows the weight difference issue? cause it looks as if that motor is much bigger then the stock one.

  • Bigger yes, however the motor is lighter by 50% but by the time you add the converter and ESC the weight is almost identical again

  • @Gourvelos what did you gain from using the brushless motor vs. the stock?

  • hi, where can i get pinion gear for brushless motor like you used? i bought motor, converter, but pinion gear.

  • I like this vid .... time to rewind and watch it again!

  • This mod looks really cool. Is the main motor synchronized with the tail motor I mean is there any tail or sideways drifting before and after take off.
