  • I can almost see Charles Manson and his weirdo hippie girls going on a killing spree at night.

  • I was just cruising Hollywood yesterday (Santa Monica Blvd., Vine St., Sunset Blvd., Bronson Ave.,) and it looks so changed. I lived in Hollywood during my late years of childhood and teens up to my early 20's.

  • Notice how short the turn lanes were..

  • This is the first Google Street View car. :)

  • I didn't know the triple mercury vapor lamp posts were up that early!

  • I wonder what the name of that Chrysler-Plymouth-Imperial dealership was ? Maybe a branch of Basso C.P.I. (they were off of Broadway @ Academy) ?

  • Scary!!

  • The Frolic Room between Vine and Gower

  • It's amazing to see the "Haunted House" club with its cobweb neon lights. Hollywood Blvd. looked so cool back then. What happened?!

  • I spent the Summer of '69 there with family. I found it dreadful, but fascinating! My cousins loved it there. I remember being on Sunset Strip and seeing a rhinestone cowboy riding a horse, poor horse! Very creepy scene.

  • @LittleGodOfGods I liked this, thumb up

  • I remember hanging out a Raji's in the 90's , listening to local bands. So many hip places back then.
