  • hi there languy, i have a major issue with my 40g hd, i'm only using approx. 7g and when i goto c: properties is shows i only have 13g of free space, i need to kno find where all my disk space is being used so i can free up 30g of space...please help!!!!!!!! I have win xp home edition, plus it's slow, thanx in advance!!

  • @TheForrest50 when you say you are using 7GB what do you mean by that?? You data is only 7gb, if so the rest is going to windows and the programs you have installed.

  • hey you probably get asked this a lot but what anti virus do you think stands up the most? i mean as in maybe what do you use or what do you think has given the best results.. i know knew viruses etc are made every day but nice to have your opinion ;]

  • @TheForrest50 Depends what kind of setup you have. If you have divided your 40Gb disk into multiple partitions, then it is possible that C is only 20Gb big (13Gb free + 7Gb used) and that the other partition is also 20Gb. If you do not have another partition, then you might have 20Gb of unpartitioned spaced. Download a partitioning tool like EaseUS Partition Master Home and either create a partition in the unpartitioned space or resize the C partition to consume the unpartitioned space.
