@sharpshot243 I find when you get stacked, to hip out and reach for the back of his closest leg's ankle, if you still have your hook in while he stacking you pull on the back of his heel towards you, while driving your hook the opposite direction, they will usually fall right on their ass putting you in the dominant position.

@TechniquePrevails Thats an excellent Motto...haha.. wish i learned that when I started..

@shivakrishnarama Actually, Aikido has some Great wrist locks. Try them from Top control and you'll find that you can threaten position merely by manipulating a wrist.../ See what opens up!.

nicely done, thanks for the video

Do you think this sweep would work well with a gi?

Isn't that a scissors sweep?

Can you an underhook on the left and an overhook on the right?

Great sweep, Basic but in a street fight its like taking candy from a baby:D

Bravo, like the camera angles, BJJ is such a beautiful martial art, I feel sorry for all the people learning Akido.
after making that hook, sometimes i get stacked and have to do some half butterfly stuff, which i don't like. any tips on making that hook a safer gamble?

Underhook the arm on that side so he can't stuff your leg with it. Also, keep your knee bent at more of an angle with your knee pointed out/up so he can't step over it.
