Are you familiar with the works of J. California Cooper? She's best known for her short stories and storytelling, but she has great novels to check out as well. Her latest novel, "Life Is Short But Wide" was a delight to read. Of her short story books, check out "Homemade Love."

Does Rhoda show up in "God Don't Play"... I've only read the first. Oh, does she show up in "God still don't like ugly"?? Cause that will determine if I buy the next books. Thanks
