  • I'd love to let you finish talking Simon, reminiscing about our childhood history and all that, but I need to rapidly hit you with a trash can repeatedly.

    Hope you can understand.

  • @hotboxingisfun what games have you been playing in my experience final bosses have always been a dissapointment and sidebosses are just ridicoulous if you know a game with tough a tough final boss i wanna play it

  • Composer is Kazuo Sawa.

  • hm that's strange. I always play the game on Advanced mode. I wish there was a way to find out what the Advanced stats are for everyone. There is a stats guide on Gamefaqs for this game but it must be the stats when the game is on Novice. The reason I know this is because I specifically remember Tex having his agility maxed out(63), and his agility stat on that list isn't maxed.

  • @Venom1661 When I played with NOVICE he had maximum health and willpower. But in ADVANCED, it seemed like he had only maximum willpower and no stamina at all 'cause I knocked him down once, he became tired right away, but not in NOVICE : /

  • yeah, Dragonsamuari has my thoughts. Apparently he has awesome stats though. But you know how when anyone has low energy they have to take a breather when getting up? For some reason Simon starts getting tired immediately, even when only knocked down once. It only happens to him. It provides some proof that they made him weaker on purpose. And, of course, he has to be armed with a metal pipe too because if he had to fight, he had to even the odds a bit.

  • @Dragonsamuari Good point, I never realized that they could've made Simon weaker on purpose to show that he was nothing without his gangs and Dragon Twins to protect him. I was just thinking in the sense that in most video games, the final boss is normally the toughest battle, whereas it was completely the opposite in this game.

Always good to have another opinion, because it took me this long to even glance at that perspective of things. And now that you mention it, you're probably right.

  • @hotboxingisfun Maybe it's to show just how much of a wuss he is when confronted. He can influence all these kids to do his bidding but can't do jack himself, hence why he has all those guys go after you in his place.

  • This music kicks ass. I almost feel like they should've switched it up though. Why were the Dragon twins so effing hard, but Slick/Simon is so easy to beat down? He wasn't any tougher than the other bosses, except you had nothing to jump on to hide from him if things got bad. But it rarely got to that anyway with him.
