@pieboy302 yeah pieboy you checked out rulings were anounced on wikia today and to make it worse after it is played you can still play cards after the summon and they dont get negated thia card had so much potential yet it was screwed up sigh back to malefics

@TheTuberguy1000 are dead wrong cause it is a continous skill drain on all other cards even if your card were face down before the summon when you open it its effect will just be negated same applies for the user once it hits the field you cannot use any spells or traps or monster effects for them to activate they have to be in the graveyard like exiled force and i will hear none of the quasar > this nonsense quasar in tcg was such a let down so stfu

btw when it hits the field its negate all othe reffect activates whether you chain solemn warning solemn judgement or not to his summon his effect will still activate after solemn warning and thus negate its ability because it was already summoned solemn judgement and warning dont negate the summon WHİLE İT İS OCCURİNG they negate it when it is complete and reverse it so negpd is still immune to them and btw thoose who thi,nk it only negates the face up cards ''currently'' on the field are

@pieboy302 sigh judt check yugioh wikia ngepd effect is originally trigger ignition AND cobdition but in ocg they removed the condition rulings and gave em blamket immunity whatever the conclusion is the fact is when it hits the field all cards that can be activated go bye bye its exactly like vennnominaga and with that i leave you be cause i cba to locate your comments annymore to reply anywho nice chat and ngepd is the second strongest monster in the game

@TheTuberguy1000 Neo Galaxy Eyes' second effect is not a trigger effect. Trigger effects activate or can be activated when a certain condition required for their activation is met. You can only activate Caius' trigger effect when it is Tribute Summoned, and the requirement for its trigger effect is that it needs to be tribute summoned. NGEPD's second effect is an ignition effect. Ignition effects are effects that are manually activated during your Main Phase, like NGEPD's.

@TheTuberguy1000 Look at the part of the text where it says "When this card is Xyz Summoned using 'Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon' as a material." The key word is "when." Effects starting with "When" are trigger effects. The part about needing GEPD as a material is the condition needed to activate the trigger effect. If you look at the official rulebook, it says that for a continous effect, "There is no trigger for its activation." NGEPD does have a trigger, so it can't be continous.

@pieboy302 read the card text and yugioh wikia its exactly like skill drain and cannot be countered its not an effect its a condition like vennominagas effect if you use galaxy eyes to summon it trigger is the one u use to get rid of other cyz monsters materials if you see carefully it also says ignition too but its negate everything ability is a condition ignition and trigger are the ones that use xyz the reason you dont se eit in the ocg rulings is cause they removed condition rulings as

Caius's trigger effect activates when he is Tribute Summoned. Neo Galaxy Eyes' trigger effect activates when he is Xyz Summoned with Galaxy Eyes as a material.

You have to choose to activate Neo Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon's detaching effect during your main phase, so it's an ignition effect.
