Great for Dogs too!!!!

Great idea... if you have the trash laying around (tarp, foam, string, etc.) However, if you bought all of this shit, the cost would be in the ballpark of a real surface. Why not just take a bunch of old clothes or mattresses and throw them on the floor like when you were 7 years old?

Genius, thanks so much

Wow, I truly thought my mat was ghetto, but this one surpassed it. Definitely a good way to have the closest thing to an MMA mat if you do not have a lot of funds. Great way for people to get started in the sport and practice in their yard; one can do a ton of stuff with this, and eventually, you can build something nicer when the funds come in. There is a video of a couple of guys who used this tarp thing in their garage stretching it and securing it with wood. That could be something to add

The MMA industry is taking advantage of the average person, beating us up price wise in every aspect from instruction to equipment.

If you do yoga, it's a yoga mat. If you do BJJ, it's a BJJ mat. If you have a really big door, it's a door mat...OK?

I got it some place in Somerville Ma. It was a huge warehouse, like 5 floors with miles of all kinds of foam. I got the cut stuff the throw aways.
