@masterpeanut08 My bike wouldn't need permission, i wouldn't be letting it. I'd gladly sleep with my bike :)

let the bike sleep with you :-)

If anyone nicks my bike I hope they check the breaks first because they'll die if not!

Hello, couple of comments. Although it's good to keep the chain off the ground, you most cetainly can use croppers with the chain off the ground and still use the ground as leverage. The chain in the clip is about 10 seconds worth of security. 06:00, both chain and disc lock in the clip are sub 16mm and easily cropped. Finally, don't rely on Sold Secure or Thatcham as a mark of quality for hard security, you're better off using common sense and get a d lock or chain that's over 16mm.

Interesting, thanks for posting.
how many bikers leave their helmet with the bike whilst away for short periods of time? WHY would you leave a helmet with a bike simply attached to the mirror stem or pillion grabrail? would you leave a few hundred pounds lying around in plain sight? then why do the same with an expensive lid? it's very common to have someone nick your lid, or a bag simply attached to the wheel. remember to keep your soft luggage secure if using it too- padlocks are a good idea.
