R.I.P. Impulse, 5.19.08
Cute fancy male mouse, about 6 months old. (The stereo came out a lot louder on video than it really is.)

  • I had a male mouse just like this one, then I had to return it because it was a douchebag to my other mouse.

  • Males don't do so well w/other males, at least not the ones I've owned, even with a slow introduction and split cage.

  • Beautiful mouse :) But why are you keeping it alone, they are such social creatures.

  • Male mice don't get along well with each other. This guy was already an adult when I got him. I had three brothers who seemed fine, then viciously attacked each other as they aged. My females always lived together.

  • hey i haev that wheel :D is that cat litter bedding? I'm starting to use it but isn't making it deep expensive?

  • His litter is the paper pellet kind. It isn't dusty and doesn't stick like wood chips and seems absorbent.

  • @jakeelvin123 Yeah I like breeders, sometimes their mice or rats live longer than the norm too which is nice. I have two pet shop females left so I am sort of worried about them especaly since one of them is the love of my life and I am so attached to her.

  • @angelbabysinger97 You should NEVER keep two male mice together. They will eventualy attack or kill each other. It does not matter if they are nice at first it is in their nature to attack other males. What you are doign is not good for your mice. Please get another cage and seperate them before one of them gets hurt.

  • aww howd he die? ):

  • @linkslover25

Regardless of price or lifespan, every pet taken into the home deserves what will make them happy. A year to you, a life time for them, alone, is devastating to very social animals. A mouse with a good block diet, clean wire cage, and buddies can live for 3 years.

  • @RatongaBruiser who is going to spend money on neutering an animal that lives a year and a half in most cases? It's just best to keep both sexes separate.

  • What some people do is neuter a male and keep him with some females. I know it's far belated nao, but just putting it out there.

  • male mice are known to me as toyota

Mr2s love them to bits lol
