Nithyananda on Yoga Sutras: Importance of Enlightened Master in Correct Understanding

In this first part of the discourse, Paramahamsa Nithyananda describes the importance of an enlightened Master to give the correct understanding. A simple change of meaning of a single word can change the whole understanding and only an enlightened master can give the correct understanding. Dear friends,usually when I meditate a small black shining hole with a golden aura appears often, sometime with open eyes,too. It looks exatly like a solar eclips. In july I started to follow Swamiji's tecnique to open 3eyes and the hole-eclips became rainbow colored with violet in the center and orange outside.Also I can see it even little bigger if I look at the sky. What's the meaning? Did somebody else have same experience? Om Nithyananda Hari Om!!! Thank you!!!

In the Western we purse technology like it is a religion. We build up our ego like it is God. We are stuck in the fight or flight response of chasing money and we never take time to breathe and step off the merry-go-round.  Thank you for these Sutras, Swamiji.

@tunetown187 Robert Svoboda's "Prakriti: Your Ayurvedic Constitution" is a good to start. It is important to understand the basics of Shad Darshana (6 streams of Indian philosophy - darshana = directly seeing) as a foundation. Treatments come only much later. Some of the best books based on the Classics can be found only in India.

I am British and i feel ashamed about my British ancestors invading India.Indian people are beautiful people.Allot of people from India live in my country and work in my country before i was even born.Even though im british people in my country treat me the same way they treat Indian people when they invaded india.They try to make me feel worthless and a fool.I found the science of yoga because of this very reason.Thank you swamiji for another beautiful discourse.
