@MasonHamlinOrgans I would love to hear the William Tell overture arrange for reed organ.

That's interesting- it might look different in person, Youtube is not the best place for accuracy

@albanybeardguy I find that interesting, because that _is_ the original finish; it has simply had 110 years of filth, one previous-owner applied layer of dark finish removed, and some pieces repolished with shellac as from the factory. In fact it is as close in appearance to new as possible in something so old.

I think he means the finish you used on the wood- it's attractive but does not look like a period finish should.

I am curious as to how much you are selling it for.
I am an organist, and a pipe organ is not an option in my home! I have a one-manual reed organ with three ranks and 14 stops which I am in the process of restoring. In the future I know I would like to own a larger one with more ranks, two manuals, and a pedal board.
I was wondering, how did you manage to remove the shellac without damaging the original polish?

@animesis Using denatured alcohol, wiping just a little at a time, never allowing the solvent to sit and delve too deeply.

could you possibly do a video with a three manual / pedal reed organ?

@jccaudell82 Hi, I have about an hour of footage of the 3MP M&H at the Fayette Opera House being played, and I intend to share some of it. Anybody care to hear the William Tell overture arranged for reed organ?
