Translator's notes:
"I" who appears on this video may be male.
Because general females doesn't use "Boku" as "I".
If a female uses "Boku", she may be boyish or live in unusual situation.
In that case she usually uses "Omae" or "Anta" as "You".
If she uses "Kimi" as "You", she looks like a prince.

THE "WANDERLAST"

作詞/作曲:sasakure.UK
lyrics and music by sasakure.UK

"Like getting an urge to take a trip, everyone requests the place to rest.", you said.

But when I knew "THE END", this place had been going down already with neither warm nor cold speed.

"カミサマ"がもしも居たとしても おおきな空 溢れるほどの虹 かけてくれなくても良い
Even if "THE GOD" exists, it is not necessary to put thousand rainbows in the big sky.

"If I wish only once ... ?"

I wish to give "THE SONG" for you,

circulate and circulate, the last melody(megurine).

If you have a smile, I don't mind disappearing of me.

Even if you throw oneself into the sea of tears, I will never release your hold.

I don't mind disappearing of the world covered with a white lie.

"What was seen in the dream of the last wandering, I wish - to become it, to become it."

LET'S SING AN ENDLESS SONG, BEFORE I REACH THE END...

  • The creator's blog states that the singer of this song is female in some extra info.

  • @KuroiNoOu

Is it true? I was not able to find where of sasakure.UK's blog it was.

By the way, the PSP mini game "Miku UTA OKAWARI" based on "*Hello Planet" was sold by SEGA.

In that story, the central character is male and I felt that this lyrics was made by him.

  • In JRPGs, I hear a lot of female characters with Japanese voice acting say "boku" even if they are female. Often assassins, military captains, athletic girls, or others who don't act stereotypically "girly".

    Could otomo explain the reason?

My guess was that they choose not to present themselves as overly "girly". Perhaps they feel their role is too serious and "feminine" mannerisms won't come across as serious enough.

Anyway, if they can do it, Luka may do it for the same reason.

  • @nyanyalea

because lots of girls say boku

  • @sevencoloredwar maa, doudemo ii na (Baka MODE, On)

ano jirei ka? yappari, ano mondai no shigen ga ningen no honno da, kyofu da.......

consider me lucky to make it this far in the conversation as I never learned Japanese.......

  • @BYKBYM1 Tsukareru nara hajimekara hajimeru na. XD Maa iiwa, anta ga shinjitakeda shinji na tada atashi ga itteiru no wa majority ga omotteiru koto dayo.

I think that people will still look a bit weird at you if you say that you're on otaku, but it's getting better I think.. It all happened because of one guy mass murdering people and another one copying him, and yea- they were both otaku. So there's a little stereotypical view of otaku now.. ><

  • @sevencoloredwar 1. Aaa mou, Doudemo ii! Anata no shinjitsu (belief, this is the first time I write this, so I might be wrong) ga anata no shinjitsu, boku no shinjitsu ga boku no shinjitsu, owari da..... Boku wa tsukareta

    2. Ah, now I'm remember....... what's with public's view of our kind? (a big sweatdrop appears on my head and vertical purple lines appeared under my eyes, which is looking to the side with a gaze that yonder far)

  • @BYKBYM1 That's why I'm saying, the anime girls that are acting like the real ones isn't possible, because real girls don't act that way..

Fujoshi is kinda like the female version of otaku -mostly the ones who keep themselves busy w/ yaoi-, it's really funny/weird, you write it like rotten girls in kanji. XD

  • @sevencoloredwar Real life girls won't act like anime girls do, but what I meant here is the reverse, the Anime girls are the one who act like real ones

    etoo.... Fujoshi te nani?

  • @BYKBYM1 of course is anime based on real life but tell me honestly, do you really think that the girls in Japan act as the girls in anime?

Sore ni, atashi datte cho otaku -teyuuka docchika te ittara fujoshi- dayo. XD

  • @sevencoloredwar 1. Most of the Animes I watch copies the real life as much as possible

    2. Boku wa nihonjin ja nai, demo, boku wa HARDCORE no otaku

  • @BYKBYM1 I'm sorry but you shouldn't confuse anime w/ real life. ^^;.. &Are you Jap? I mean, I think that I do know more about my own culture than you..

  • @sevencoloredwar some are like that, but some are just born that way, try watching "Kanon" and you'll know what I mean...
