Balance of a matched Basketmaker atlatl and dart set (From White Dog Cave, AZ)

A little video demonstrating the excellent balance of the White Dog Cave atlatl and dart system. The dart dimensions are as close to the original as possible, and although it is tipped with a 9mm bullet casing, that doesn't change it's balance much.

This balance is what makes it so easy to throw properly matched Basketmaker atlatl and dart sets-The throw is nice and easy, and the well balanced system easy to hold at the ready.
