In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a scrolling ticker (a.k.a Crawl or Marquee) which can be placed on the slide to display any information.

What you need:
1. PPT 2002 and above (latest is recommended)
2. Text that you want to display.

  • Well done for making an effort. However, the intro is way too long and un-necessary. Also the background music during the actual tutorial is very annoying and also not necessary. Keep at it though, good effort! :)

  • 240p, we meet again.

  • thank you soo much

  • @stuntmaniatv u do realize this was 2 years ago where back then i was just starting on youtube and now use a different account (lost access to this account - this is my new account)

  • do you realise you had a WHOLE minute of titles..a big no no when making youtube vids...users get board and leave the vid..like i'm doing now.

  • @mizkhyla you can do that by using the 'Fly In' animation. Just adjust the settings by making it 'From Left' or 'From Right' instead of "From Bottom". Also, if you want to make it slower, you may want to set the speed by following the same steps shown in this video.

  • Is there a way to freeze the text once it gets onto the slide? I just wanted it to crawl in but stay.

  • Thanks man! You`ve just really helped me!
