With the current conflict, it hurts so much when the Terrorists refer to The Sinhala Buddhist Majority making us look like barbarians most of the time using fabricated information. If all of the LTTE cadres embrace the principles of Buddhism, they will find peace and salvation to cleanse their minds and mend their ways away from brutality and descruction of life and limb. May all those mislead souls be led on the right path to love and compassion for human life.

My heart sings with gladness for the organizers and sponsors of this festival. What could be greater for world prosperity and peace than to celebrate the Buddha's teachings. In the jargon of theatre artists in the West, "Break a leg!"
